А в Америке совершенно тот же смысл связан не со словом "купить", а со словом "продать". To sell означает не только продавать, а и обманывать, надувать.Под девизом "Let us pee for you!" вам могут, к примеру, втюхать приборчик, который вместо вас пописает для анализа (см. цв. илл. (Чего только не продают! Это реклама необходимого каждому американцу устройства. "Уриноватор" способен пописать за вас для анализа: "Let us pee for you!" Правда, это только для мужчин, в рекламе подчеркнуто: "...выглядит как реальная штука". Это чтоб инспектор не сомневался, что всё вытекло у него на глазах прямо из вас. См. комментарии к слову "sell".) к слову SALE). Называется "Уриноватор" (а вы думали только у нас есть новаторы?).
